Moving away from the linear “take-make-use-dispose” model and transitioning to a circular economic model is essential to keep resource consumption within planetary boundaries. In a circular economy, the value of products, materials and resources is maintained in the economy for as long as possible, and the generation of waste is minimized. Within this context, adelphi’s Circular Economy Programme works to support and enable the development of circular economy strategies and business models. We provide support to small and large businesses and enablers from national and local policy makers, technology providers to financial institutions in order to increase circularity in the production and consumption ecosystems. The main value chains that we focus on include textiles, plastics, agro-food, electronics and built-environment. Our work especially focuses on extended producer responsibility (EPR), the prevention of packaging waste, e-waste and marine litter, as well as the anchoring of circular economy principles in international supply chains (e.g. in the textile/clothing sector).
Adelphi's Circular Economy Programme is growing and is looking for talents to work on a growing number of projects in the fields of plastics, marine litter, textiles and agri-food value chains. To support our Circular Economy Programme, we are currently looking for a full-time Manager/Advisor/Consultant (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.
Diversity is important to us. For a sustainable future, we need a diversity of experiences, backgrounds and perspectives.
