Controlling Analyst (m/f/d) for Sustainable Finance Projects - Berlin (full-time/part-time)

Job summary

As Controlling Analyst/Consultant in adelphi’s Finance Programme, you are responsible for contract management, budget management and reporting to sponsors in multi-year grant projects. This includes coordination of the award of subcontracts, integrating experts from target countries into a project and management of internal backstopping. You work closely with project managers and adelphi’s administration department.

Your tasks

  • Financial and staff resource monitoring of multi-year projects
  • Budget and invoice controlling
  • Maintaining and verifying time sheets
  • Reviewing financial reports
  • Contract management
  • Supporting project audits
  • Improving internal administrative processes
  • Managing key accounts

What we are looking for:

  • A university degree (or similar qualification) in finance/economics/business/law (or similar) and an interest in sustainability, related technologies and investment projects
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee various activities at once ensuring timely and successful implementation
  • Strong analytical skills as well as attention to detail
  • Very good knowledge of Excel and common office programs (Word, PowerPoint) 
  • A solution-, client-, and quality-oriented approach to work
  • Interest in a long-term collaboration in a dynamically working and growing team
  • Excellent oral and written expression in English
  • Interest in the field of sustainable finance
  • Relevant professional experience desired
